Carlos E. Ponce, Executive Director of Consorcio Justicia, was interviewed on Carlos Acosta's program "Por la Mañana en América" (In the Morning in America). Ponce stated that crimes that violate fundamental human rights do not have a statute of limitations and that the Venezuelan armed forces must consider this before carrying out any act of repression against Venezuelans protesting in the streets: "These crimes do not have a statute of limitations, even though some governments have implemented amnesties; these are later revoked, and when these individuals travel to another country, they can be detained and imprisoned."
